The "A" Series Pro-Tap is one of the only 4 speed machines to develop the constant power and four speeds required for tapping holes up to 1-1/4" (30mm.) in diameter. The built in electronic control, when switched to reverse, stops for a pre-set time for added mechanical projection. It is powered by the high toque low rpm AEG B4/32 Motor unit. The "A" Series Pro-Tap also features a spring loaded roller ball fitted to the base which allows the machine to be accurately repositioned on the work surface.
